eHealth Collaboratory Assessment Lab is Operational

The eHealth Collaboratory (http://www.ehealthcollaboratory.ca) in Toronto, Canada, is a virtual electronic health record (EHR) demonstration environment that can be used both by EHR solution providers and their clients. The eHealth Collaboratory is a partnership between the Center for Global eHealth Innovation (www.ehealthinnovation.org) and Canada Health Infoway (http://www.infoway-inforoute.ca). It provides vendors and purchasers of electronic health records with access to services that support and accelerate the implementation of interoperable and usable solutions. The Collaboratory's primary focus was on implementing assessment services to demonstrate and evaluate the interoperability and usability of electronic health record (EHR) solutions for the “Physician's Office of the Future”. Release 4.1 includes Monitor Enhancements, New Adapters and Help System
April 17, 2006 -- ActiveCore Technologies, Inc. announced today the release of V4.1 of ActiveLink, its XML/JAVA-based data conversion and application integration engine with greatly enhanced application integration, data conversion and real time monitoring capabilities. ActiveLink V4.1 delivers real time transaction monitoring, database transaction logging and new plug-ins to expand data conversion and application integration options. Also new in Release 4.1 is an online Documentation and Help System. ActiveCore will officially commence sales of ActiveLink V4.1 on May 1, 2006. The market for this product is extensive and encompasses all organizations in the healthcare, government and financial services sectors that need to enhance, extend, or integrate existing systems. ISV's will also be eligible for a Partner program with a target rollout of June 2006.

ActiveLink powers IBM eServer iSeries, i5 and AS/400 Servers
The ActiveLink Solution Server and Plugin Adapters now run on IBM eServer iSeries (formerly called AS/400). DB/2 databases can be accessed using the ActiveLink JDBC Adapters. Legacy programs written in RPG, COBOL and CL can be run locally or remotely. Manage the Server using QShell or QCMD Command Entry or by the using the visual Monitor Console from any workstation. ActiveLink XML Engine Upgraded to Latest Web Standard
ActiveLink announces a major upgrade to the XML Stylesheet Language Template engine to conform to the W3C XSLT 2.0 Standard. The ActiveLink engine is XML-based and all Tasks exchange data using XML and Stylesheet Language Templates. XSLT offers powerful data transformation capability. For example, table lookups can now be done directly in ActiveLink's XML engine without scripts or external databases.
