Studio - Alerting Users

Design Studio    Creating Solutions    Linking Adapters    Mapping Data    Testing Solutions    Debugging Errors    Alerting Users

Warnings and Errors

These two thresholds can be used to notify an operator when an individual Task has problems.

Input Queue Size

Defines how many entries are in the Task's Input Queue before a Warning or Error Alert is issued.

Failed Attempts

Defines how many times the Task is unsuccessful (for example, sending an HL7 Socket Task message) before a Warning or Error Alert is issued.

Elapsed Time

Defines how long in seconds the Task is executing before a Warning or Error Alert is issued.

EMail and SMS Alerts

Check these to enable the Alerts to be sent. Alerts are not sent when solutions are run in the Design Studio - only when solutions are run in the Solution Server.

For configuring the SMTP and SMS server connection settings, see Solution Properties.
